What StockedWaters is

StockedWaters is a free, independent resource that republishes fish-stocking records from public state wildlife agency open data in a more readable form. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any state agency or the data sources we cite.

Accuracy & “as is” disclaimer

We work hard to present source data faithfully — showing only the date precision an agency reported, rejecting implausible dates, and attributing every page to its source. Even so, the underlying data can contain errors, omissions, and delays, and our processing may introduce its own. The Site and all data on it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Do not rely on StockedWaters as the authoritative source for regulations, fishing licenses, access rules, or current conditions. Always confirm with the relevant state wildlife agency before you fish. See data & sources for where our figures come from.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or fishing regulations
• Scrape, overload, or disrupt the Site or attempt to interfere with its normal operation
• Misrepresent the data's source or imply official endorsement

Intellectual property

The underlying stocking facts originate from public agency data and are credited on each page. The Site's design, layout, original text, and presentation are owned by StockedWaters. The StockedWaters name and branding may not be used to suggest affiliation or endorsement without permission.

Third-party links

The Site links to and may embed third-party services (such as agency data portals and OpenStreetMap). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of those third parties.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StockedWaters and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any loss arising from your use of — or reliance on — the Site or its data.
